Delete your account and data

The parent account holder can permanently delete an Off You Play account in the app or request help by email.

Delete in the app

Follow these steps

  1. 1

    Open Off You Play and sign in to the parent account.

  2. 2

    Enter Parent Mode, then open Account & Settings.

  3. 3

    Select Delete account and review the warning.

  4. 4

    Complete the confirmation steps. You may be asked to sign in again to protect the account.

Cannot access the app? Email privacy@offyouplay.com from the address used for the account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We may ask for information needed to verify that you are the parent account holder.

Data that is deleted

Account deletion removes the parent authentication account and private account-linked data, including:

  • parent account details and settings;
  • child profiles, nicknames and age bands;
  • play history, sessions and activity interactions;
  • favourites and consent records; and
  • user-owned files and other private Off You Play service data.

Shared Off You Play activities are part of the service catalogue and are not deleted with an individual account.

Limited retention

Deletion starts when the confirmed request is processed. We retain information only where it is reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, enforcing agreements or legal obligations.

  • Purchase and accounting records may be kept for the period required by tax, accounting, consumer-protection and fraud-prevention laws.
  • Security logs and backups are kept on limited cycles and then deleted or overwritten, unless preservation is required for an incident or legal obligation.
  • Firebase Analytics and RevenueCat records follow our configured retention settings and applicable provider and legal requirements, after which data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
  • Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and related obligations.
